Responsive Repairs – Social Housing/Property Services

Up to £54,000 Plus Package 

Our client, an established maintenance contractor based in the South East, are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their property services division.

They are one of the largest housing associations in the UK and They deliver day to day responsive maintenance, construction and planned maintenance to housing stock across the country. 

This role is to join  the commercial department for the property services division. My client are ideally looking for someone with 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, however they would consider an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a step up.You would be responsible for a assistant quantity surveyor and report directly to the commercial manager.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

Cost planning

Closing out and Setting up contracts commercially

Strong knowledge or SOR codes

Liaise with operational team to ensure works are completed on time and within budget

Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts

Working off the NHF Schedule of rates

Approve sub-contractors & supplier payments

Attending & Charing progress meetings with clients

Regular on site visits

Overlook P&L with operational leads

Cash flow management
