Repairs Coordinator

We are currently working with a well-established organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Repairs Coordinator to join their team in Billericay.

The Role:

As a Repairs Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day repairs and maintenance works, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and customers and operatives are kept informed throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating and scheduling repairs and maintenance works.
• Planning and allocating jobs to operatives and contractors.
• Managing diaries and arranging appointments with residents and customers.
• Liaising with operatives, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure works are completed efficiently.
• Handling customer queries and providing updates on outstanding repairs.
• Monitoring jobs through to completion and following up on outstanding works.
• Dealing with access issues, cancellations and rebookings.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating repairs management systems.
• Ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales and service levels.
• Providing general administrative support to the repairs and maintenance team.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a Repairs Coordinator, Repairs Planner, Scheduler or Maintenance Coordinator role.
• Experience within property services, social housing, construction or maintenance is desirable.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
• Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• A proactive and professional approach.
