Repairs Planner / Scheduler

We are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to recruit a Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join their team based in Loughton.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planner or Scheduler with a background in repairs and maintenance to manage the daily diaries of 12 operatives, coordinate subcontractors and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily diaries of 12 operatives.

• Schedule and allocate repairs and maintenance jobs efficiently.

• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor their workloads.

• Liaise with operatives, supervisors, subcontractors and residents regarding appointments and work updates.

• Monitor outstanding jobs and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.

• Manage cancellations, rebook appointments and resolve scheduling issues.

• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.

• Provide updates to the operations team on job progress and outstanding works.

• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting the smooth running of the repairs service.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Scheduler or in a similar coordination role.

• Experience within repairs, maintenance, social housing or property services.

• Ability to manage multiple operatives’ diaries and coordinate subcontractors.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Confident working in a fast-paced environment and prioritising workloads.

• Good IT skills and experience using repairs management systems.
