Bathroom Fitter – Social Housing (Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire)

Fortus Recruitment are a specialist recruitment company focused on the Repairs & Maintenance sector.

We are currently working with a well-established maintenance contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Bathroom fitter to work in occupied social housing properties across Bedfordshire and Hertforshire.

The Role

You will be responsible for full bathroom installations in occupied properties, including:

• Installation of baths, WC cisterns, and WC pans
• Associated works such as:
  • Patch plastering
  • Tiling
  • Basic carpentry
  • Painting

This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and strong communication skills are essential when dealing with tenants on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Proven experience within the social housing sector (preferred)
• Either time-served or hold a relevant plumbing qualification
• Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks to a good standard
• Strong customer service skills
