Gas Contract Administrator (Heating & Hot Water)

Rate: Up to £18 per hour
Contract: Temporary, Full-Time

We are currently working with a leading social housing organisation that is looking to recruit a Gas Contract Administrator to join their Heating & Hot Water team based in Stratford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to support the successful delivery of gas servicing, heating, hot water, and compliance programmes. You will play a key role in ensuring works are accurately administered, tracked, and completed within agreed timescales, while supporting operational teams to meet compliance requirements and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and processing work orders for gas, heating, and hot water works.
- Monitoring outstanding actions and engineer variations to ensure timely completion.
- Creating and managing gas safety certificates and compliance documentation.
- Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Updating internal systems and ensuring service contract information is accurate and up to date.
- Supporting the management of contractor performance and compliance requirements.
- Assisting with forecasting, reporting, and budget monitoring.
- Liaising with engineers, contractors, residents, and internal departments.
- Handling resident enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate records to support KPI and compliance targets.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Contract Administrator, Compliance Administrator, Repairs Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience within social housing, property services, gas compliance, or maintenance environments is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Experience processing invoices, raising work orders, and managing compliance documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of information accurately.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and internal management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
